WebQuests - Look at examples when you finish the survey.


Assignment: Create a webquest where students are required to use higher level thinking to analyze/evaluate a problem and present a persuasive argument.

Webquest will include an Introduction, Task, Process, Evaluation, Conclusion, and Teacher Page. You will create your WebQuest in a wiki and e-mail the link to me before class next Wed.

You may work with a partner, but each individual student is responsible for creating his or her own webquest.

Option A - Prezi and Glogster (16 or higher)
  • Create a presentation in Prezi, include 5 images, and at least 1 link
  • Presentation should address teaching a new concept to students
  • Create a teaching poster in Glogster, include 3 images, and at least 1 link
Option B - PowerPoint (15 or lower)
  • Create 3 presentations in PowerPoint
  • Each presentation includes a minimum of 5 slides, 3 images, 1 video or 1 sound file, one link, and each slide must include an animation and a transition.
HINT: Use http://keepvid.com/ to download videos from YouTube or other sites. Also, check out Brainy Betty's Sound File website to download sound clips.
